Deeds Registry Data

Property information displayed is sourced from the South African Deeds Registry, a public record maintained by the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development. This information is publicly available under South African law. We present it in an accessible format and do not publish personal information beyond what is available in the public deeds registry.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We share data only with PayFast (payment processing), property data providers (data enrichment), and law enforcement when required by law.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure database storage, and access controls.

Data Retention

Order and report data is retained for the period required by South African tax and financial regulations (minimum 5 years). Anonymised search logs are retained indefinitely for analytics purposes.

Your Rights Under POPIA

You have the right to access your personal information, request correction or deletion (subject to legal retention requirements), object to processing, and lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.
